Be a Meal Delivery Volunteer
Would you be willing to take a meal to someone who’s recovering from a medical procedure or enduring grief? What about the joy of a newborn baby or a new home? We are organizing a group of volunteers who will agree to be contacted when a need arises in our community for home-delivered meals.
Here’s how it works:
- You fill out the form below or contact our church office via phone at 785-776-8821.
- When there is a need, you will be contacted via email with a link and password to TakeThemAMeal.com. This link/password is specifically for an individual’s need through FUMC and is organized by Nancy Kollhoff and our webmaster.
- You log in to TakeThemAMeal.com, check out the available slots, see allergy information or requests, sign up for your slot, and you’re done! You’ll even receive an email reminder to help you remember.
- If you ever want off the email list, just contact our webmaster.
And…that’s it. There’s no obligation, no minimum number of meals to deliver, or even a prerequisite of knowing the recipient ahead of time. Simple. Straightforward. But, if you’ve been on the receiving end of a meal during a difficult time in your life, you’ll know that it’s powerful.
