It helped shape their understanding of what it meant to be in relationship with God and with each other. Today the biggest question we ask about the Ten Commandments is where they can be posted publicly. Do these ancient Words still have a message for us? Could they remind us what it means to live together in community? This summer First United Methodist Church will focus on one commandment each week in worship. Could it be that learning to live together as a community is something we are missing in our current culture?
